Here we go, the 1/2 way point.

Yet to come is ,,,,,, Satin Black paint job, Custom quick release feet to lock it onto the ute tray, and a plastic pocket on either side for ammo, whistle etc.

Probably gonna use the pockets (cut out from) the inner door trim off some old vehicle.

The rifle rest swivels up and down,
The upper and lower arms are adjustable in 15 mm increments so as to get a perfect fit for different people,
They can also be adjusted higher or lower on either side if a lop sided position is desired,
The upper arms are at just the right angle to be used as a steady rest under the elbow or forearm,

The 360 degree rotation can be easily controlled by feet pressure on the ring, and also acts as a brake.
And all movement is silent, which is what I need, because I intend using it in conjunction with night vis gear, while sitting nearby a bait carcass.

Only problem is it may be too comfy, and I might fall asleep while waiting.

Unfortunately, I still haven't finished it off as per the picture I have in my head.

Maybe quite some time,,,,, I'm still in hospital, and looks like 7 or 8 weeks before getting home and dont know how long before being able to shoot/hunt.

If things don't go according to plan... maybe never.

Cheers,
