SCH1 large safe options

Post by wheedle » 19 Oct 2014, 3:47 pm

Hi guys,

I'm looking at a 150kg safe, the Spika SCH1 seems like about the only one right on the mark?

The Spika is $990 and 155kg. Others are significantly heavier or more expensive.

I haven't found anything else right on the weight limit for the same price. Is that it?

I must be missing some?

I don't know if you've seen any of the others in the flesh but there is a reason for both of those... They're a lot more safe.

The same size Browning one is a few grand more, but go look at the thing. Swing the door open and closed a few times. You'll see...

Just to add, I'm not knocking the Spika.

Just saying they're apples and oranges so can't compare on price alone.

Any reason you don't like the Spika?

Not being the Spika sales rep here but I've got one and think it's fine.

Just curious what you didn't like?

No problems with it.

Just wanted to get some options, not buy the first thing I found.
