So I decided to pull apart my Rossi m92 this arvo with the aid of a YouTube video. With distractions and having to do half of it twice a 20 minute video turned into a four hour saga

What I'm asking is what exactly do you look for with parts that might have slipped quality control? I've found a couple of small burrs that I polished off with super fine sand paper and a little bit of swarf between the timber stock and barrel.
And also I've sanded back the stock not because it didn't look any good just that I want it to be darker.
