How to open a Sentry Gun Safe in under 1 minute

The bad guys have known this for years. This is for the home owner, to know what the manufacturer wont tell about your safe, so you can know how to harden your safe.

Hope it helps someone.

Some people get funny with this stuff like your promoting crime but I reckon it's good to share.

Not many owners would click to that looking at their safe.

I had a safe I was using for ammo before finding the 'bang on the top' flaw it in which let them open easily without the key or code.

Replaced that lemon ASAP.

Good to share this stuff +1

Yeah, I guess it goes back to the old proverb ( ? Confucious say, )

You get what you pay for.

Thanks to the pollies,,, we're struggling to get stuff thats NOT made in China.

When I built mine, I made it so that it requires both combination as well as a physical key.

Same, got given a laptop safe from bunnings.

Seemed solid enough but bang and twist... You're in.

Only a bit of timing needed, took me about 4 goes to get it.

Worthless safe... Replaced ASAP.

Maybe you can reposition the button to be facing into the safe if the inside of the door isn't steel.

Otherwise stick a hinged cover over the button, something like that.

They're about $900 those ones. Not peanuts so you'd be disappointed with that :(

Yeah well,,,, I thought I had posted quite a few pics, but after trawling through all my posts there isnt a single one to be found.
Mustve been the "other" forum.

What this forum maybe needs is a photo gallery,,,,,,, How about it Mods ?????

I'm getting out of hospital (at last) hopefully tomorrow. (under strict physical limitations)
Once home, I'll have access to my desktop where those pics are, and post them up here.
I built the entire thing and painted it, all except the mural on the door.

That magnificent hand painted piece is the work of my mate and tatt artist.

I had two pair, same problem with the keypad/turn handle one.

Bang the top while turning the handle sharply and pop.

Keyed-only one works find though.

Trying to remember the brand... Sand something...

No reset button on my big Spika though so that's good

You're not telling the criminals anything new... They're already ahead of the curve on these things.

Always best to share the information to the honest ones of us who learn how to break into things can prevent problems.
