My ultimate Christmas present would be a Zastava CZ 99 .22lr Bunny Buster Package.

My son offered to buy it for me, but he has a girlfriend now and hasn't mentioned it since lmao.

With all the paperwork, regs, rules etc, it'd be almost impossible to buy a firearm as a gift for someone I'd imagine.

You're kidding?!

Well, all I hope is that they have it wrong, and if not, that they have a damn good backup plan, like replacing all boundary fencing with dog proof fencing, traps and are prepared to replace all livestock lost to dog attack with comparable quality stock.

Idiots.

Obviously there are no true farmers in the labor camp.

Labor are the natural ally of the gun grabber, so it would make sense..... but I have only seen a liberal govt press release indicating that dog bounty would be redirected to aerial bating...any reference though to the red ending the bounty?

Is a .22 still the only gun you have got....sounds like it.
Browning BL-22 lever action...open sights
T3 Varmint .204 Ruger...Meopta Meostar 4-16X44
T3 Lite .30-06 Sprg...Aimpoint Hunter 1X red dot

....that will do me

You can't gift one directly into someone's name without them being involved, no.

If you wanted it for the day you'd buy it yourself - registered to you - "give it" to them, then to make it theirs a trip to your LGS to do a transfer would be required.

A transfer is $20 or so. Not too bad if you really want to give one to one of the family at some point when everyone has their license.
