Sadly I'm limited to my .22LR on the family farm for noise problems.

That's no good mate, it happens - not too often but it does happen. Did you try any whistling at all?

No wood or rabbits shot again this(long) weekend, kids sports on Saturday, went and watched a couple of my builds shoot well on Sunday then spent most of yesterday picking up a lathe and a miller from a deceased estate(three tandem trailer loads with all the associated workshop).

I'll be hunting Nazis this weekend with my Israeli K98....at the annual City V Country CSD match at Mudgee.

More correctly I suppose being an Israeli Mauser means I'll probably be hunting Palestinians, a little less PC though.

In hoping to have my new (to me) S&W 686 in hand for the pistol events and a mates K98 .22lr trainer for the 50m training rifle event.
