Yesterday was the day, returned to the tree and came had been cut off and taken.

Only moderately camouflaged. Chest height in the recess of a knot on a tree. A little moss and debris around it.

I've had people walk past before, one bloke waved and kept moving. First loss of one.

Of the repeat thieves I've encountered none of them even had it any good.

I bumped into a guy in my LGS who had done a DIY option for this.

He had a metal tray of some kind, no idea what it was originally for but like a plastic take away rectangle container.

Had holes on both sides top and bottom for a steel cable and a larger hole in the middle for the lense.

Put the cam in the container then cabled it on with no slack so you couldn't get it out.
