I think not! , all us shooters and hunters need to seen as responsible people that would bring unwanted attention , if and when you get licensed one should have the firearm covered when transporting , its in your own interest to keep the rifle from getting damaged and to keep it accurate. I have a very small key safe bolted in my vehicle to accommodate my rifle bolts . Perhaps you should go down to your local range and see the amount of gear you will need to test shoot , rifle , ammo , spotting scope , cleaning gear etc etc , not suitable for a bike stick to your car mate
