Winter hunting gloves

G'day
I've been searching the net for a pair of winter gloves for hunting with firearms.
Looking for something that:
1. Insulation against the cold.
2. Dexterity for fiddling with small objects and fitting through trigger guard easily.
3. Preferably leather palms (I don't want to have blood stains though my gloves)

They seem like they have good enough user feedback. $90 shipped from the states.

They seem to look ok and can get them in Aus for $70.

If anyone has some suggestions, would be greatly appreciated!

I just use a pair of cheap grey coloured cotton gloves with the end of the index finger and thumb cut off. Not flash but mostly do the job.

I just use a pair of Thinsulate gloves with a slot cut in the trigger finger near the 2nd knuckle so I can pop the finger out and take the shot and when the shots taken I just slip the finger back in, that way they are always warm (which you need here especially when spotlighting.

Fingerless bike gloves with a pad on the back for wiping sweat away and leather palms for more grip (handy too if you've run into a blackberry patch).

I use these and find them to be pretty good. Made by Realtree Outfitters, General utility Ironclad. Got 'em off Amazon, can't think of cost but wasn't very dear.

Getting the finger through the trigger guard annoys me with any gloves.

I got a pair of regular leather driving gloves and l chopped the finger/thumb on the right hand.

Have a look at the Stoney Creek Performance Touchscreen gloves.

Light, thin and warm. Don't get in the way like padded gloves can do.

I just purchaesd a thick pair of fingerless gloves from Big W for 5 bucks.
Good value me thinks and certainly useful.
They serve as good inners for a more weatherproof pair for me.

I recently found the brand 5.11 Tactical (don't let the name fool you, it's not mall ninja stuff).

I believe made by, or with, Ironclad who make great work gloves.

The 5.11 though are made with shooting in mind so have padding in the right places without being too thick or restrictive in places needed for hand protection in a work setting but not shooting.

They do some good 'work' gloves which are suitable too, medium protection but still some tactile feel and aren't clunky.
