I wished we have USA's castle doctrine here in OZ.

How far are you willing to go to protect your property and loved ones?

When you need help now, they are still minutes away.

Self defense laws here is next to useless!

my grandmother use to keep a tomahawk behind the door and a tin of pepper on the bed side table , when some one was coming down the drive way, the kettle went on if they where friendly they got a cuppa if not they wore it .

You have to take a chance on being judged by twelve or carried by six.

When pressed I think most will risk the former.
What is this "too many rifles" you speak of?
