Genuine reason for Collectors license

Post by Erwin » 24 Aug 2015, 12:43 am

Hi all
I'm currently in process of applying for my Collectors license(QLD).
Normally what kind of Genuine reason is good for Collectors license,to increase the chance.
If apply for WW2 Germany Firearm such as PPK,PP,P08,FN 1910 ,MAUSER HSC.
My friend hold the same license for 5 years already. But He didn't pass for his apply.
We was thinking may be the reason not good for WLB.
Cheers

In Victoria though, even on a collectors licence, Cat C & D firearms must be "permanently de-activated" - cut, welded, generally reduced to rubbish...

Just curious but in your experience tarnagulla is it possible to have a collectable C/D that's deactivated in such a way that you can't see it's been done?

Or does it have to be done so aggressively you can see it's had the once over?
