red dot and a rail

i bought a red dot for my 30/30 a while back and also got a pearsons tactical rail to go with it,,and yes its black all things tactical are

took her out to the range and gave it a whirl two out of four, offhand, in a five inch circle at a 100 (the other two were just out or way out somewhere ) didnt take any pics of the target so i should say pigs should be worried

pretty much it has a scew/nut combo that go's on the front to stop it moving as well, sits solid or at least didn't move while i was sighting it in, i did put some blue locktight on everything and did everything up snug,not thread stripping snug but snug enough

it runs down the side of the action and screws in to the action with the screw provided.

its for a winchester 30/30, the top eject makes mounting anything a pain

off the bench,about 2'' at 50, the red dot is 3moa and i had it on the highest setting. off hand at 50 i can get them all in a five inch circle which is fine by me as i was aim fire, aim fire type of thing. at a hundred i could get two in the circle and the others near or nowhere near the circle ,( and i was trying ) still i was happy with how it went . in the field i would take a rest on a tree for the long shots or get down on a knee but most should be 25 to 50 at least thats what im hopping ,ill let you know when i get out to shoot more than paper
the pig trip was supposed to be in November,,,,,,was still it gives me time to reload for it any tips on projectiles and powder?
