Its the most I've ever paid for a rifle but the look feel and quality is spot on

Some really nice timber, there. Nice looking rifle, and definitely quality

I need to stop looking at lithgow's now ... this is bound to turn into a costly obsession.

Same with the cz 452 and 455, they're all a case of close but no cigar (plus i've heard a few people say that the cz's are more susceptible to rust than they should be).
If it turns out that i can't find a better fit, i'll seriously consider either this or the three barrel cz 455 and look at changing the butt pad to get a better fit.
But the build quality and the fact they're aussie made are really appealing to me

I thought this one would have had all problems sorted out by now, should have brought a CZ

If they get every third one they sell back for warranty repair, they'll soon sort the issue to save costs.
PS: read on one of the gazzillion threads about these rifles that they feed just fine from CZ mags???
Would make sense as they were developed with CZ mags.... dunno...
