The latest creation from the workshop....A split leather gun bag for my smoke poles made from two welding aprons from Aldi. Total cost $26. All hand sewn using the thread from chook pellet bags. It was a good fun project but made my fingers pretty sore from pushing the needle through the (punched) holes.

There's still a few of Wile. E Coyote's ideas that I haven't tried yet.

I wanted split leather because it's in keeping with the black powder theme of my shooting these days and the Aldi aprons where a cheap source. Have just ordered leather today from the local supplier to make a cartridge belt to fit my 40-65 cartridges.

Looking good as always, Noisy.

You're going to have to start doing forum workshops soon

Do I remember right that you were working on a set of shooting sticks too?

What happened to that?

Yes, you do remember correctly. I did make them and they work but aren't much to look at because they're not carved yet.

One thing is for sure Noisy, it cost you far less than Track of the wolf would charged you.

They do some great stuff though. Love a lot of their percussion pistols and old rifles.
