Haha! The only reason there is not a manual for "the wife" is no one has lived long enough to be able to write a book that long and do the study necessary to complete a sufficiently useful "manual"

My suggestion is that instead of having all that fun with the mask and associated gear remove the death mask and start learning how to control her.

Saw a book once titled "Everything a man knows about women."

I think there might be a common thread developing here...... I didnt rate very highly the inherent danger of my missers until I witnessed her hit a target at 500+m...with an old ex-mil 8mm Mauser, with open sights..... Thats when it dawned on me that if I ever really pi$5ed her off - I may as well not bother running :unknown:

Neither was there a manual with her :D :friends:

Ok the rifle that I started this thread with. I have finished. I started with a 1976 Whitworth Interarms Mark X Mauser .22-250 (not as cool as your milsurp jobbies) had it rebarreled in .308 and had mini Mauser open sights put on it. Left it like that for a while then bought a 3-9x40 bushy scope for it. then decided the military style trigger 1/2" of creep was no good so I replaced it with a timney. And finally glass bedded it using DEVCON titanium steel epoxy putty and after sighting in and shooting an Moa group. I had another go and shot .3 moa. I recon mission accomplished.

That's one purdy mauser, and a great cartridge too.

I wanna see how well it shoots!

The rifle is cheap, certainly a bargain if the barrel is indeed 'excellent' as described..
Carbine seems overly priced compared

It came about after I nearly acquired a sporterized Colombian Mauser . The action was in great condition but the stock was heinous. After a bit of research into getting a replacement military stock it all ended being too much mucking about and not cost effective at all. In the process of my inquiries I came across this Swedish in great condition and a reasonable cost. Got a thing for mausers, such beautiful rifles.

Anyway here is my Swede with its Belgian and Chinese mates (the norinco is probably as close as I will get to a genuine KKW trainer)
