300mt plus Bunnies with the .223

Post by Elmer » 13 Mar 2016, 1:48 pm

Heres a vid on some Bunny popping with the .223 last Saturday, the ranges started at 240mts(263yds) up to 307mts (336yds) in a crosswind from 16-25kph(10-15mph).
The day was very humid and with a temp of around 30c accounted for the rifle shooting slightly high but head shots past 300mts proved how deadly this little .223 can be.
I did not see any foxes this time but Im sure they were waiting out of sight to ponce once I left, all in all it was a good day with nice clean shots , minimal missing and no wounded dragging themselves down burrows :D

Thanks Tiiger, yes mate even though I know they die instantly, I still don't like seeing them flop around.

Wow, if i was pushed to give a guess i would have said it had to be something well in the the 18 x minimum.
With a 12 x its even more impressive.
