As for getting the skin off, what I used to do,,
When still warm,, (essential for bucks)
Lift a fold of skin midway down the back,,
Slice across ways with knife,, (just enough to get 2 fingers of each hand in)
Pull in opposite directions,,
Skin tears off at head, and hind feet. (Leaves a clean skinless carcass, with or without gut)
Extremely quick, but no good if your saving furs.
I do not fear death itself... Only its inopportune timing!
