Hi Guys,
Here is an update to the .22lr story.
Went to Springvale last night, all going well around 70 rounds through and then I had a jam.
Bloody pill just would not come out of the action and it eventually went behind a plate and that was that.
I took it to the shop they have there and the guy said " wow that's not supposed to happen", "better take that back to where you got it from".
Well took it back to the LGS today and I was not in a good mood, (a bit concerned that a live round was stuck in the action.
I handed over the gun and it was promptly taken out the back to be fixed.
When it returned I was told, not one but two round were rammed in the action, (NOT HAPPY JAN), I new about one but the other one must of jammed earlier and I had been cycling the action with a live round jammed in there.
I was not happy to take the gun back and I told him so, so he said would you like you'r money back or a credit, no arguing, no hassle, no problems.
I was stoked so I exchanged it for a Marlin XT22 LR Synthetic stock and Stainless barrel.
I know it is not done to name and shame on here but a huge shout out to Miall's Gun Shop in Frankston they were great and deserve more business.
Just like Woodworking, Aim twice, Shoot once.
