260,000/1500 to 1800 = 143 to 173 years
SO.... the criminals have been really, really busy, apparently they've managed to steal 150 YEARS WORTH of firearms.
Half of the illegal firearms must be blackpowder firearms

Having handled the adler, it isn't anything special, just lighter than the 1887. The lever will have to be worked to smoothen it out, but it is choice, a lever shottie that isn't an 1887

Cat a/b makes you run the burocratic gauntlet and do all sorts of checks. How is club membership or age limit relate to this?

His original post doesn't make any sense at all. If I'm responsible enough with something Cat A or Cat B, surely I can use something from both Cat C and D without suddenly turning loony? NZ has no problem with self loaders, even Uk allows semi auto rimfire and shotgun, Canada too, but not us?
