El cheapo fox decoy.

Heres a short vid of a cheap(under twenty bucks)fox decoy I made from a Weasel ball, an old two piece 12g cleaning rod, camo tape, a piece of coat hanger wire (for the mounting bracket)and a rabbits tail which I sewed onto the end of the Weasel tail.
I have used it several times and instead of making a beeline to where the squealing bunny is coming from the fox will focus on (and stalk) the decoy allowing a bit more time for a well placed shot.
For less than twenty bucks it works very well

Put it this way Sean,,,,, I would've been dead Fred.

The footage of it over the garden/footpath edge actually had me mesmerized.

Well done,,

Reminds me of WWII fighter planes with the nose cones painted "spinner spirals" to put of air gunners.

Well done.

Theory is it distract gunners at they can't stop looking at it and either miss due to distraction or are compelled to aim at it and miss because they're aiming at the target rather than leading shots to where it will be.

Just looking at the picture makes my eyes hurt.

Also deters birds flying into props and jet turbines as they can see them instead of thinking there is nothing there or its a void, cave, whatever.

And ground crews can see blades are spinning for safety (and on turbines if it's moving so fast you can't see you know to stay away to avoid getting sucked in)

FW-190 D-9. Lovely bird :D

It looks to have been repainted and the markings re-applied, so its lost heaps of it's value already.

At least it flies right?
