I have had a PTA approved pending the end of the waiting period, but I'm wondering what the deal is with the dealer's license number that I had to list on it.

If I want to get a gun from another dealer and have it posted to the listed dealer, is that good enough, or do I have to get it modified?

If so, how long does this take?

Does re-trigger the waiting period or anything?

Email the registry if your state, they can sort out any issues/give advice in regards to permits

Email weapons licensing with the reference and ask them to update it.

They can do so and if you ask they'll fax it to the dealer.

It does not retrigger the 28 day wait.
