Well Im glad I did , and about two hours before dusk the furry residents emerged to mow down more wheat shoots.

Towards the end of the day the wind dropped down to zero so I could see no reason to pop some at 400yds plus..which I did with the .223, no fancy you beaut 60-80 grain VLD target bullets, just good ol 55 grainers is all that was needed to score.
I reckon I could have popped some at 500yds had the targets presented themselves but I was pretty happy with the rifle and ammo's performance so I cant complain.
