Dunno what you're all on about, mine has given no problems. The odd misfeed, no greater or fewer than my CZ, Anschutz etc. if I dawdle on moving the bolt it'll scrape lead and occasionally miss the hole, exactly as the others will.

It's from the first 100, with the original 5 shot and cz 10 shots. They're more of a problem, can usually only get 9 into them, but they feed from there.

Anyway it seems like 3 or 4 of you moaning about them, so with lots more out there, so the unlucky few need to get yours fixed and get on with it.

It's not just 3 or 4, more like hundreds from all around the country

Also jamming up on the last round in the factory magazine straight out of the box consistantly is a fairly large problem, their customer service has a bit to be desired but we got there in the end, for $1000 .22 i'd expect it to work just like anything else you buy

Update after many weeks of nothing from Lithgow I sent them an email and got no reply but a week later a call from the LGS saying they have my rifle but dont know what was done to it.
Off to the range to see what it would do the day was a bit windy but otherwise fine same ammo as I used the last time I had the rifle CCI Mimi Mag, RWS High Velocity, SK Rifle match, RWS Rifle match, RWS Subs, Eley Subs, The first 2 were crap at 50mt, next 2 were would have been around a inch or less RWS subs were under a inch but the Eley were about 2 inches.
Took it out to a property and could not get the same results this time the RWS high velocity were the best followed by Winchester power point.
Now I think I did a stupid thing and gave it a clean before taking it out the last time otherwise it fed fine and felt good and now I think I need to run a few hundred through it to see how it settles.

Awesome that there was no issues! Mine was like that too, got it back and it was like a new rifle and I had to find its sweet spot again.

I re-torqued the stock and that seemed to help.

Torqued it to around 12inch/lb

Is that tighter than standard?

It is lighter than factory.

Factory is 1.5nm which equates to 13.3in/lb

I used the wheeler torque wrench. Picked it up from a local gun shop.

Hey guys just read the 19 pages of stuff on here ive had my crossover for around 3 months and couldn't seem to work out the feeding issues either till i looked on here put so many types of ammo though trying to find a good one think i will be sending it back just hope it doesn't take me as long as it took yous at least i have a plan of action now

Summary;

Buy / trade for a CZ.... seriously though, if you need to send it back, I'd put it on abusedguns or SSAA market and replace it... you wont be without a rifle for ??????...months

No. I will not further bash the Frenchies effort, I'm sure they'll eventually work it out and probably do a full recall.... but apparently its only a few rifles

I hope they get the centrefire version 100% right else it will end their short foray into the consumer market..

Just wanted to update, another day at the range and with all the stuffing around with the mag it still just wont feed all the time and I'm over it,so it will be scope off and packed up and back to the shop.
I got this rifle back in Oct last year and would have put over 500 rounds through it and never shot one rabbit as it was in getting fixed, this time well I dont even want to say what I'm thinking.

My Walnut Crossover has arrived. The timber looks better than the pics below in good light.
I cycled about 50 CCI quiet rounds (slow and fast) and didn't have any feeding issues (fingers crossed).
The Vortex Diamondback HP 3-12x42 scope looks extremely clear and well built.

Hopefully i can zero it in this weekend and see how it shoots.

I took my Walnut Crossover 22 to sight it in today.
I didn't get out there till after 9am and the wind was gusting & shifting around a bit so i only used a box of CCI standard ($6) then some Eley HP.

I didn't have any feeding or stove piping issues but we will see what happens after a few hundred rounds.
A couple of times the empty case didn't eject out cleanly but it was my fault for being a bit slow with the bolt cycle.

The Vortex Diamondback HP 3-12x42 went great, is super clear plus the side parallax adjustment is awesome.

The la101 was shooting about 20-30mm groups which was good for the conditions (cci standard, prone with a bipod).
Below is the best 5 shot group at 50m when the wind died down for a bit (13mm centre to centre).

Overall i'm extremely happy with the Crossover results given the conditions. My feeling is that with some Match ammo, a still day and sandbags the crossover could average under 1/2 inch groups at 50m.

Eley HP Subsonic was doing a cloverleaf pattern at 25m. Knocked off 1 Indian Myna... 248 to go

Hey guys thought i would add my 2 cents worth on here after reading a fair few threads.
i have had my lithgow since a month after they were released and had zero issues for around the first 5000 or so rounds when the ejection issue started to kick in and gradually became more apparent. I could live with it as i always knew when it happened before i next cycled.
I did however go to collect my rifle out of my safe one morning to go and shoot and the barrel had rust on the top of the barrel, safety switch and the bolt handle was the worst for sure.
I contacted lithgow and was sent away within the week to go and get fixed and constant communication between the guy at lithgow was helpful and yes the process did get prolonged a tiny bit by about 2 weeks (total time gone one and a half months). After receiving the rifle back it took me a few weeks to get to the range to go and test it out and it was back to banging and they had also solved the problem with the feeding issue by from what i can tell putting a 22lr specific size plate at the feeder location (cz plastic 10 round mags no longer fit but ill fix that as its just a tolerance issue). Not one has failed to eject since and i am still more than happy with my purchase.
As for people saying they have accuracy issues i know all of them are slightly different but considering i can shoot off a bipod standing in a booth, sometimes prone with bipod the majority of the time i manage 5 cent groups more often than not using federal 714. at 50M

Thanks Cerberus. I'm hoping to take mine out again this weekend to get a proper sight in (no wind) and test a few types of ammo.
I will probably get a CZ 10 shot magazine down the track.

So far i'm extremely happy with the performance on the Lithgow Crossover.
