point taken aster, perhaps i worded my reply poorly.
what i mean is that the op should consider the application of FFP scopes carefully and even borrow one or shoot someones scope before investing his hard earned.
there has been a lot of hype about the advantages of FFP but rarely any balance to the discussion. i borrowed a vortex pst with a FFP reticle a while back and quickly realised than when trying to load test on a target at 200m on 24X that the reticle completely covered the point of aim and existing holes and that the mil dot reticle at it's most magnified completely dominated the image making it feel cluttered
of course the op is free to buy anything he likes just like anything else don't buy the hype without trying it
