In the case of the yet to be fully legislated 5 / 10 gun ownership issue,,, What happens for any LAFO with excess number of firearms once this ridiculous move becomes law ????
Only the current buy back, which closes end of August 2024.Does the WA government have a buy back scheme or compensation for loss,,,, in place for these unfortunate LAFO's ?

The "buy back" closes on 31 August so any firearms you still have in excess of the amount permitted, ie 5/10 you will need to sell before the Act becomes law, which has been mentioned to be in March 2025 or WAPOL will drop around and confiscate them with no renumeration. All this is thanks to those that voted for these pricks at the last election.Only the current buy back, which closes end of August 2024.Does the WA government have a buy back scheme or compensation for loss,,,, in place for these unfortunate LAFO's ?

Many still believe that BS and still put him on a pedestal when it was Perth being the most isolated capital city in the world that was the telling factor. He then reveled in emulating Hitler.
The Federal Govt also controlled the skies and set the strict parameters for air travel.
WA's has only TWO major sealed road entries, one East of Kununurra up North and one South on the Nullabor at Border Village, which are always manned 24/7 for agricultural quarantine purposes so unlike other states WA's major entry points were already being totally covered 24/7.
Anyone proposing to enter WA during any covid restrictions had no chance but anyone with a brain would know the distances involved allayed a basic hop skip and jump into WA versus being able to quickly spread their covid from Vic into NSW and then QLD or vice versa etc using a multitude of entry points. with many unmanned.
McGowan road on our isolation and the lemmings sucked it up and still do.
