Super Simplex help wanted

Post by Ferret57 » 04 Aug 2025, 4:44 pm

I am just entering into Reloading and have a Super Simplex that I was gifted. I have purchased a 4 die set in 9mm but there are no instructions as to what order I set these. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
I also purchased a 3 die set in 38 which was straight forward enough to set up but the 4th die in the 9mm has me stumped.

Is it a taper crimp die perhaps?

I haven't loaded 9mm for a few years but I think I had a 4 die set up. 1. Resizing/decapping die. 2. Case mouth expansion.
3. Bullet seating die. 4. Factory crimp die. Maybe that is what you have. Hope you sort it out. Reloading is fun.

I recently purchased a new die set for mine. I received the seating die, the de-priming die and the projectile seating die. This is for 223.

Peter 988 - same with the .38sp die set, only 3 dies so was simple enough to set up.
