It's not many that take the time to add pics and try and put some colour into the place, so good on you mate.

Just click on what Josh has posted, and it will open and drop down and the whole thing is there for you to see what he has taken the trouble to post.

I must admit, we rarely see many Mosins in Australia at all, in the circles I am in we never see them.
Maybe in larger centres gun shows? If they are still worth going to anymore.
Even though we are in a country where the people have allowed politicians to basically tell us what to do, what to own and even what to say, you'd think that more ex-mil bolt-actions would be popular.
It also surprises me that in a country like the US where people are still free, and can own any modern semi-auto, these very basic rifles are so popular.
I suppose we want what we can't have here, and look past the rest.

Must be a Northern or perhaps Rural thing, as I see many down here in Melbourne, I know of at least 50 in the hands of shooters I'm personally acquainted with from M1891 through 91/30, PE & PU Snipers both repro & original, M44, M38, Hungarian, Polish, Bulgarian, Finnish, & Chinese Type 53's bought back from Vietnam. I have several including 3 Finns and really like trying to shoot well with them. The Finns and the Polish M44 can shoot very well.
