big brother is watching...

Post by bigrich » 24 Jun 2026, 3:34 am

i've heard about this during the last few weeks . our society is starting to get real Orwellian , it's all in the name of public safety :problem: wonder how long before we have a "good citizen" social credit system like china ? i find it more than coincidental that this is being rolled out in WA , probably the most hard core labour state in the federation . and we are a federation of states , i reckon QLD should succeed from it ;)

She'll be right mate, don't worry. It's all for your own good. Really it is.
Actually, you need to start looking the other way along with the rest of the Lemmings. Then everything will be OK.
"There's a real bad car crash out there on the street" "No there isn't, your eyes have failed you. Look this way instead and it'll go away"
Then the plebs won't have to face whether they have the gonads to be forced to do something about it.
"The only way to avoid criticism is to do nothing, say nothing, and be nothing."
Aristotle.

You know my most hated saying of all time is when limp wrists say “if you have nothing to hide then don't worry”.

One does not need to have anything to hide to enjoy personal freedom and not have to be harassed.

The police in QLD can search you randomly in some areas without warrant or reasonable cause for knifes or other contraband. All because some kid got stabbed to death.

The father of that kid was saying his son would be proud to be protecting other kids. But all I heard was my son is a dirty commie that supports commie thugs searching people without cause.

Sure its sad that he died. But why should people lose their freedoms over it?

valid point .but knife crime amongst the youth elements in our society is up . why do people have to carry knives in inner city pub/nightclub areas ? i'm pretty sure the random searches are within certain inner city zones, brisbane/gold coast being two i know off. i think the legality of these searches has already been raised by civil rights groups . it's not just that one kid that died mate . there's been a few people who've died . minding their own business and had some @rseh#le stand over them and intimidate them with a knife . very un-australian . out in the bush a folding knife on your belt is a given . in the city , why ?

There is only one way to combat knife and gun crime it's simple whatever the crims are carrying and using you give the people the same right in other words they carry knives people carry knives they carry guns or machetes or whatever that gives the people the legal right to do the same to defend themselves and just Let The Bodies pile up simple mathematics there's more of us than there is of them
