I have it zeroed to be dead on at 50 yards with 180gn Core Lokts in my .30-06. So its still going up at 100 and has only dropped a few inches at 200. I also use 150gn and 125gn. I don't bother rezeroing it. I know the ballistics of each cartridge and don't really have to adjust anything. They will all be in the kill zone. It's not a bench rest queen so close enough is good enough for me.
Another good thing about them is there is no chance of copping the scope in the head on recoil.
I was thinking the same thing, could be one scope I can forward mount on my Ruger Scout, that will work in day and night. LOL I think you should be on commission mate

Very clear, sharp reticle, everything you'd expect from Leupold for the money.
Always had a soft spot for Leupolds mate. They just work, and work well.
