Just pick up the .243 did you?
Great first calibre.

Keep the wind in your face as best as you can or a cross wind (left to right of your position) look for gullies and creek lines as they love those, blackberry bushes and any tussock grass patches (they love sleeping in those) rocky outcrops are popular for them also as is bracken ferns etc.
And don't be surprised if a fox breaks all the rules and comes from the same direction the wind is blowing from (had em come and stand right next to me a times)![]()
Good luck and hopefully you'll get a few come in - Oh yeah keep the noise and talking/movement down to nothing if you can, they've got good hearing and will spot any movement - nows a good time to get them as they are young and dumb, when mating season is on they are very cagy and won't sit still for a shot so get into em now if you want a few (skins are s**t of course now).
Also listen for the birds, they will often start sounding off when a fox is on the way in.
